Welcome to Dragonfly!
Our office is at 732 Wade Hampton Blvd, Suite D. Look for Progressive Properties of Greenville and Le Forbici, then turn down the driveway in between the two buildings. You’ll find Dragonfly in the back of the building.
You should have received an email with a link to fill out your online intake form. Please be sure to complete this before you arrive so it doesn’t take away from your treatment time. I promise it will only take a few minutes, and you can do it straight from your phone!
While an occasional massage is great for self-care, I highly recommend regular treatments. To get the most out of your sessions, start with 4-6 treatments close together, either weekly or every other week, before transitioning to monthly maintenance. My clients who have dedicated themselves to this have seen big transformations in the way they feel in their bodies and how they respond to life stressors. The best way to keep yourself accountable is to book a few treatments all at once, so you know you have them on the schedule at a time that works for you.
As a reminder, we’re a very busy clinic, so if you can’t make your appointment for any reason we ask that you let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the appointment.
Integrative Massage
This is my most common service, as it allows a lot of flexibility to offer you a well-rounded massage based on your needs. You can expect a combination of deep tissue, neuromuscular release, lymphatic drainage and/or reflexology. It is structured to give you the perfect balance of clinical work and nurturing touch, depending on what you’d like to focus on. We’ll talk before the massage so I can get a sense of your needs for the day. If you’re interested in learning more, take a look at the article I wrote about Integrative massage here.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is the perfect choice for helping your body to detoxify, getting rid of puffiness or swelling, injury or surgery recovery, and supporting the immune, digestive, and nervous systems. If you’d like to read more about lymph massage, the benefits, and how to use it to feel better, you can read the article I wrote here.
Perinatal Massage (Prenatal/Postnatal Massage)
I’m glad that you’re taking the time to support your body through your prenatal and/or postnatal experience. Perinatal massages target pain and discomfort both during and after pregnancy, swelling/edema, as well as the sleep issues and nervous system dysregulation that can arise at this time. To read more about the benefits of perinatal massage, and how to get the most benefit from it, you can read the article I wrote here.
